My husband had a dream last night that he raped me and ended up going to prison, why would he have a dream like that? Does it mean anything?

we have been married for about 2 years and we now have a 1 month old baby girl. We still have lots of intercourse just not as much as usual, maybe 4 times a week, so he does get it, i aint depriving him.

Rape = forceful action, taking charge without consent
going to prison = feeling guilty
There may be something in his life that he feels guilty about. Projecting raping you shows some sign of bad behavior he is having. In other words, he may be hiding something from you. Raping in reality is a crime and in dream is a release of something that is not told by others. In his subconscious mind, he may use you as a tool to release his unhappiness. This could be about family, job, etc. However, going to prison is the end result of how he feels in some way. In other words, he may feel guilty about things he did in reality. In that sense, that raping you is just a symbol of having some thing done wrong. And somehow you are the object to release his unhappiness. Perhaps, there is something he wanted to take charge of but can't in reality???
Whatever it is, he should know better. Examine his life socially, job, and family, you probably will get a clue.

Probably he's just stressed and this is just a dream... nothing more... but if he keeps having it it could just be sexual frustration or longing peeking in his subconscious... if you want to have fun (and are in to this kind of thing) role play his dream out (the parts that you can)... it'll probably blow his mind (in a good way) lol... maybe you can come in in a cop outfit and he can use the cuffs on you :P

sounds like the brain over exaggerating his want for more action in bed
maybe there are some people that feel you shouldn't be together, so the guilt transfers to a prison sentence
he may want things from you sexually that you don't, the dream is another way of releasing that desire....
sounds normal

it's strange that he told you about it, that's what I would be interpreting
I assume he felt really bad about it in which case he just felt horrible and wanted to tell you because you make him feel better
