Yes definitely... in retrospect.

To all the young yahoo'ers, most of us oldies are agreeing that school days were the best of our lives... you disagree? So, you think you're life is just going to get better and better? hahahahahaha!

Oh, that's classic...

Well I hate to tell you but in most cases the whole school days being the best day of our lives is more than true. See, when you are in school you have minimal worries in most cases, you don't have the every day stresses of paying bills, getting a job, taking care of a family etc. Most people hate their job at some degree or another, most people hate their spouse at some degree or another, and having kids is wonderful and not so wonderful. You have to pay taxes on everything, unless you are wealthy it seems as though you never have enough money to make ends meet. If you are a responsible adult you have can not be as free as you are now. You can't have, for a decent job anyway, tatoos all over, piercings and what not. Oh yea, and there is always that looming feeling of the economy crashing, not enough jobs, and voting. The canidits that are up for election these days for horrible and they can't fix anything. There are too many people in this world and every time you turn on the tv all you see is death and chaos or scandel. The good news is that you can choose to have a great life. You can move to the hills, not do any of the above and be a free person. Otherwise big guy enjoy the next two years of your life, after that it blows. Hey you asked and you got an answer. LMAO!!!! DAILY WORDS OF WISDOM; Be careful what you ask. If you are not prepared for the answer then don't ask the question.

I think that it is one of the best times in your life. Like someone said before me, no bills, responsibilities etc. I also think that I have had some other "best days" since leaving high school. I think that the best days are always changing and there are many categories for the best days. All I can say is enjoy them. I think that some kids worry to much about how much adolescence sucks they forget to enjoy it.

So they say, but who are THEY? It really is up to the individual to decide when they have compared them to other days in their lives. After all I wouldn't say they were--looking back and seeing me get whacked over the palms of the hands with a cricket stump for doing something wrong by the head master at one school, or getting my backside caned for accidentally breaking a tiny window because I needed to go to the toilet at another.
I would definitely give this 'philosophy' the 'thumbs down'!!!

Grammar school and high school were fine, but the University of Wisconsin at Madison was an unqualified blast. Some of my best memories are there.

Ask my son, currently in high school, and he would definitely say NO WAY!

But, myself, I thoroughly enjoyed being at school! It was a great social event for us and yet, in my group of friends, we all did really well too!

Not for me it wasn't though it should have been. School structure keeps you busy and your mind activated and helps you socialised basically get ready for the real world which it doesn't.

Sure are. You live with your parents, no bills, no worries, fed, clothed and watered. When you go out into the world, the buck stops with you.
