Yes, I'm one of 13 siblings and we use B-days as a reason to get together as a family.

I love my birthday!!!! It makes me feel really special and it seems people are always just a little bit nicer to me on that day.... This year we had like 3 or 4 celebrations for my birthday.... It feels great... the day is about you so celebrate it!

I dont celebrate my birthday but my husband celebrates for me.

Not if I can help it. Once you get to my age (60) it is something you would just as soon forget! I have always been uncomfortable with celebrations surrounding around me anyway.
PS I DON'T mind the presents, though! :o)

YUP Its called Birthweek. Its gonna especially be birthweek this year again because my birthday is comin up on October 6th, and my bf's is on the 4th. i'll be 18 and that means its time to PARTAY IT UP!

Not liked I used to when I was a kid.
Now, I just go out with my fiance to dinner, and see my family for a few hours.
Nothing nearly as exciting as when I was in high school =(

of course! its nothing vain, its just the perfect opportunity to allow people to celebrate and appreciate you. Doesnt have to be expensive......just a little bit of time or thought devotion that we all deserve.
