My father, who was an atheist and not prone to superstitions claimed that he saw something back in the '60's.

We lived in an older house which had a veranda with a southern exposure towards Denver. It used to be an open deck, but had been glassed in and finished. There was a door from the kitchen and a sliding glass door from the living room.

My father worked the swing shift and was watching TV after work one night. He glanced at the sliding glass door and saw a woman in a white robe. He assumed it was my mother, who had for some reason gone onto the veranda through the kitchen door. Then he realized that my mother did not own a white robe, and when he looked back she was gone. He says that he searched every angle for something that could have caused a reflection or an illusion and found nothing. He never told my Mom until after we had moved away.

As a child I experienced numerous nightmares in that house. They quit when we moved. I was not traumatized in my childhood and had a very secure, loving family. I didn't realize until years later that it was not normal to have so many nightmares.

My mother would get an uneasy feeling about the basement and feel that she had to lock the door. The cat would often act like something was on the stairs, and sit staring at the basement door with the hair up on the back of it's neck.

The doorbell would sometimes ring and stick, so you had to go outside and bang on it to release it. You think of kids playing a prank, except there were no footprints in the snow. . .

There are without doubt matters that kids (specifically the ones underneath 6 or so) can see that we are not able to. She does not want cure, she's now not loopy. There are a few matters to hold in brain. And I realize now not everybody thinks this manner, however that is the one manner that is smart to me. Everything on the earth that lives has a few variety of "essence" that may be visible through people who realize what to appear for. Some persons name it an air of mystery or a soul, or something you desire to name it. The identify does not subject, that is simply what it's. Children can see those from persons or matters which were in that situation earlier than. Not always a ghost. But far and wide we cross, we depart a bit of of ourselves at the back of, style of like a footprint. Children can see those "footprints." If any one rather adored a situation and died, they would return to that situation making the footprints more potent and simpler to peer. In my opinion, the first-class factor to do isn't to inform her that she's simply imagining matters. Its moms and dads telling their youngsters there is not anything there that factors youngsters to lose the capability to "see" those matters as they grow older. My daughters inform me they see faeries at all times. Just considering the fact that I are not able to see them does not imply they are now not there. Since she's now not petrified of what she sees, I would not fear approximately it an excessive amount of. If what she used to be seeing scared her, you would appear into it. But this seems like she's simply deciding upon up at the vibrations of all residing matters round her. I would not fear an excessive amount of.
