I'm afraid to tell you (how old are you?!) he wasn't 'scratching', he was humping. Also known as attempted mating/having sex with.

This is what bunnies do. They're very virile little creatures, when they have the urge to mate (which they do most of the time) they'll attempt mating with any animal, vegetable, mineral or human in site if there is no other bunny around. Female bunnies also do this.

If it bothers you, you could get your mom to take the bunny to the vets to have him castrated (testicles removed so he can no longer reproduce and therefore no longer has the urge to hump). I daresay it will make both him and you more comfortable.

several reasons:

your rabbit may be doing other things...rather than scratching...when it comes to his private parts. Let's say he's grown up ;) get what im saying? Its normal.

Scratching other things and you are totally normal too. Unless if he pounces on you and bites while he goes mad. But scratching is a playful act. He's happy :) And besides it's good for their nails..trims it down..

You have a perfectly normal rabbit!

You baby bunny is no longer a baby. He's reached/reaching sexual maturity. Consider having him neutered. With sexual frustration, comes spraying. No one likes bunny urine everywhere.

Perhaps he was trying to get your attention. Meen is spelled mean.
