When advised to use either skim or 1% milk a few years ago, I tried them. Couldn't eat my cereal looking like water had been added, so I switched to 2%, and have stayed with it since. Wife uses half 'n half in coffee.

I don't like either, but if I have to chose it's 2%, I grew up on it. Whole milk has no taste to it!

I use low fat milk or skim milk if they don't have low fat milk. If they don't have low fat milk or skim milk then I use 2% reduced fat milk. I'll only use whole milk as a last resort.
