I don't know baby. Maybe it's because we're afraid of change, of things we don't know. And life without the person or thing we need to let go of is not what we're used to. And love. We can't discount that. Especially when we have to let go because of death. We feel like we've been robbed. That it isn't fair, and that we shouldn't have to be ready to let go yet. It purely sucks, doesn't it?

Letting go means saying good bye and that is always hard. It is hard because it's taking away a part of your life that you are use to having there. It's always hard.

Because when you love someone or something it is hard to let it go. The pain eases but it never goes away.

Because you begin to think "Maybe it's not so badd" and maybe if I leave it could be worse..."I would end up either being lonely or finding some drug addicted or alcoholic, non-stop partier type guy or one who sits on his computer at night chatting to whoever would listen. Or better yet, meet someone who is bi (but doesn;t tell you) or even worse someone who is a pedaphile??

it's part of your life. Hard to let go of something that you hold on to but sometimes one has to. It can be good, emotional healing takes time.

Because you truly cared with your heart... I don't think that you ever let go, but find a very special ans safe place to tuck it away in your heart... This gradually happens over time, ♂Absol...

Are we talking about the loss of a pet? We just experienced that a few months ago. Our 4 year old calico died of liver/stomach cancer. We are still mourning her loss. They become like family.
