A couple of friends and different websites have rumored that there's going to be a remake for the Evil Dead.
Most websites say remake but possibly another sequel,
But what i want to know is if anything is confirmed
can anyone help me?

...then again, there's always the on-again/off-again rumors over at New Line, of the ludicrous "Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash"; whether this outrageously ridiculous idea actually comes to pass, at least there's some folks out there, who are having some fun with the concept, as indicated below...

they are working on it, the screenplay is in place.
it wouldnt be a sequel though: (evil dead 2 & army of darkness)
i really dont understand what purpose it would serve to remake it however-"if it aint broke don't fix it!"

Good gravy! A remake would be a sucky idea. But another film in the trilogy would be awesome!!!!!!!
