I'm hitting my late 20's and I still love to watch BET 106 & Park, VHI Top 20, and MTV... I'm a music lover and I love music videos! :)
Anyways, I was told by someone much older than me that I watch the same programming as her teenage daughter = I'm still immature...
If that's the case then i'll never grow up! What do you think?

You like what you like. There's no crime in that! It's music, if it makes you happy, go with it. Anyone who would call you immature because of your taste in music is just narrow minded!

I am 40 and I love all music from Beethoven to my new favorite Mindless Self Indulgence. I felt the same as you once, but my music tastes have only increased. I think it contributes to a more balanced life.

Its not so much the taste in music, but the crap that goes along with it. If you are still into BET, VH1, and MTV, perhaps you should move on. They pull such immature stunts on all three channels that any mature person would be wise to avoid them.

it depends on the person I loved listening to disco when I was younger & still listen to it & all kinds of other dance music
I still love to listen to rock & roll loudly & then there are times I listen to more quiet music
you are not immature so just go with what you like & it does not matter what others think

My taste in music has changed numerous times in my life, but that's just me. If you like it then that's fine, you don't have to change.
