umm... yeah. for thos who don't understand the obvious - i don't mean the best record of all time is going to be taken this year. i'm talking about the race that's going on right now - for best record and home field advantage throughout.

The Indians actually have 6 games left. They have a doubleheader today against the Mariners.
I predict the final records to be
Boston 96-66
Cleveland 96-66
Los Angeles 95-67
New York 94-68

As an Indians fan, I hate to say that the Red Sox will probably have the best record and home field for the playoffs. Their remaining games are too easy for them to lose more than one or two. The Tribe has struggled this year against KC and Seattle is likely to play them tough trying to be a spoiler.

Boston could pull through here. We do have all home games left against easy teams (not that, that means anything).
