i get id'd for all of the above if i go somewhere, where the people dont know me!!!
it doesn't bother me....i feel like when I'm 50 i will look pretty damn good =)

I'm 35 and still get Id'd for alcohol quite a bit. I don't smoke anymore but when I did even at 30-33 I still got carded for cigarettes I mean come on, I've got my three kids with me, do I look under 18?
I don't get upset about the alcohol because I carry my id with me all the time. I guess it makes me feel kind of good.

Funny you mention that. I got "carded" last week buying a carton of cigarettes for a girl I work with. I asked the lady if she was kidding & she said that they have to card anyone who looks under 30. I just handed my ID to her, chuckled, and waited to see the expression on her face. I will be 46 next week! The wide eyes said it all and she said she is usually good at guessing people's ages. Needless to say, I took it as a compliment!

I rarely get ID'd. It's really weird b/c I'm told that I look like I'm 14 but I don't get carded.

I still get id'd for cigs every once and a while, I don't buy much liquor/
beer.
I'm 38 so I could kiss the clerk!

I don't drink or smoke, but when I'm with my friends at restaurants and they order, I get carded too... Heck, I get sent to the Principal's office at the high school where I am not a regular teacher almost weekly... I feel great because I'm far from being a teen... (ignore my avatar)

I still get ID'd when I go to rent out R18 movies.
Everyone says you're supposed to feel flattered if people think you're younger than you are, but it really doesn't. I feel that people don't take me as seriously if they think I'm younger.

All the time (I'm only 21 though), even for R-rated movies, and I hope they never stop. I'd rather look young than old =)
However it amuses me that they think someone with a few visible tattoos can be under 17.

My mother in law is 43 years old and STILL gets carded for cigs. But when I walk in behind her and buy a pack I don't get carded. She gets so mad! I think it's because she's only 5 foot tall and I'm almost 6.

I do..and I'm 26. I look very young, so I get asked all the time.
It makes me feel good to know that I look like a youngster. When I get 40...I will look 30.great for me!!!
However, sometimes I get annoyed about showing my ID... but its ok. ; )
