Most dentists don't use it anymore. Too much hassle to drag out the gas cart. Plus if your an adult they don't want you leaving all loopy and then driving into a tree or worse... So instead they'd rather stick you with a spear-sized needle in your mouth and call it "painless" dentistry. Whatever! personally I'd like a snort or two of goofy gas to deal with these clumsy hacks poking sharp objects around in my mouth...

never have. my dentist is to old to catch up with the new things so he uses good old fashion needles...ouch!!
