Zappos.com is my favorite online shoe store.
Besides free shipping both ways, it carries a breadth of sizes & wide range of styles. You can search by brand, shoe category & size/width.
The best feature is the product reviews written by customers. I refer to these to get an idea about how the shoe fits - e.g. runs narrow, level of support, etc.
keds.com, crocs.com, piperlime.com and endless.com are worth a look too.
