It is thought by some that the demand woman have had to work in the past and the fight for equality among men, has made life more difficult for women whom wish to stay home. Because annual household income directly regulates the price of living due to inflation, Is it not true that since women demanded to work has now made the economy demand for woman to work in order to reach the american standard of living? Please provide sample text to support your theories and explinations.

Obviously if almost every household is suddenly making twice the income, but the supply of goods remains the same, then basic economics suggests that the price of everything should double. So it becomes harder to live on one income without making changes in lifestyle.
[Edit: In other words, if two people go to work per household, instead of the traditional one, then you have made no real gains in income because every other household is doing the same thing and increasing their relative income by the same amount as you are]
Of course, you also have to consider that your ancestors lived quite well without a/c or cable TV, so the rising cost of living can also be blamed on our rising expectations of what constitutes the "American Dream".

Of course not. What a simplistic, misogynistic opinion. The American family has changed, true but ruined simply because women returned to the work force? I don't think so. I would blame the problems with American families on the high divorce rate and the fact that both men and women don't work very hard at making their marriages and families successful. You have to be committed to your family, regardless of whether the wife/mother works or not.

No, feminists have not "ruined" the U.S.(America is the name of the continent, not the nation) family. The U.S. family, much like families around the world, had just as much child abuse and domestic violence before feminism was even coined as a term. All for which one might blame feminism is the extent to which these topics can now be opently discussed. The family is no longer some sort of sacred institution in which all the horrors are to be kept shrouded in silence.
