How do you know if you have cool or warm skin tone?

When I go to buy make up, it says for cool skin tone, or warm skin tone....I don't understand.....I have fair skin, blue eyes, blond hair....am I cool or warm....thanks for the help

Cool undertones mean that you have pink in your skin. Warm undertones means that you have more yellow in your skin. If you tend to get flushed frequently, you probably have pink undertones. If you tend to look sallow on some days or can tan easily, then you probably have yellow undertones.

Try to get your hands on two pieces of fabric - one a warm peach colour, and the other icy blue.

Hold the two pieces of fabric up to your face. One will suit your skin tone and one will seem to drain your face of colour.
If the peach colour looks best, you have a warm skin tone. If the blue looks best, you have a cool skintone.

Just because you have fair skin and blue eyes, it does not necessarily mean that you have a cool skintone, it is possible for you to have more yellow tones in your skin than pink, which would give you a warm skintone.

I would say that ur a cool skin tone. Coz ur quite light.
But to answer how u know, just look at the veins on the underside of ur arm, it helps!! If they r a blueish colour ur cool toned. If ur they r greenish ur warm toned. I know it sounds silly but trust me! But sumtimes just by their description u can tell wot they are.

1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear green.
2. Gold jewelry is more flattering than silver jewelry.

Cool skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear blue.
