I would prefer some of both. Too opposite and we'd never connect or agree on anything! And too much the same and it would be BORING.

You've had some rocking questions in the past few days!

I think an opposite is better because u can like, metaphorically speaking, feed off each other because u each have different views.
On the other hand though u don't want someone that is so different that his/her beliefs are the total opposite of yours.
So, in any case u should have some similarities, and even if u do have alot of differences they should be slight like differences with which u can work through a relationship with.

I would have to vote for similar personality. Opposites are fun, but I get bored easily. If someone isn't sharing the same interests I would probably go crazy and look elsewhere. Thus having to break up with the person because I refuse to cheat.

had both... the similar personality has been the best relationship of my life... we've been together two years and have yet to even have so much as a disagreement... and no.... it's not boring at all... it's simply that we both want the same things... so its actually more exciting dreaming together and goal planning... there's no "tug-o-war" like I've had in the past... it's truly heaven!...

At first, it was irritating to have a partner of opposing personality to mine but after a while, itkinda adds variety to my life. Also, our strengths and weaknesses tend to be opposite so we sort of supplement each other in our shortcomings.

Opposites attract but rarely stay together long-term. Similar personalities aren't as dynamic but they fight less and grow old together more.

Opposite, makes live a little bit more interesting.

A little of both.

I want enough in common to get along and have something to talk about when we're 80. At the same time I want him different enough to still keep me on my toes--thinking, changing, evolving--throughout my years.
