post partum spotting/first period?

My son was born 5 weeks 2 days ago. I stopped with my bleeding and lochia around 2 weeks.

I started feeling crampy a few days before 5 weeks even got a pimple. I knew I was going to start my period. Well I didn't, but I have been spotting. I started spotting at exactly 5 weeks post partum. Just light brown and light pink blood only when i wipe even if everytime i go to the bathroom. I also have mucous mixed in sometimes.

I had a c/s and also had sex around 2 weeks post partum. Its not possible to get pregnan that soon is it? Or is this my first real period or it trying to get back to normal?

With my firstborn I started my af back at 5 weeks post partum too, but I breastfed. This time around I am not

You jumped the gun with sex a bit early. You should have waited at least 6 weeks to allow your CS to heal.

Yes it is possible you are pregnant. Take a test and see...you may have left over hormones in your system though, that might confuse the test.

You could just have spotting and nothing more this time around.

Mine returned after my CS at about 6-7 weeks...and it was a doozy. Maybe this is just the precursor to the real thing?

Have you been very busy and active lately? That caused me to spot on and off the entire 6 weeks after my CS.

you arent supposed to be having sex yet. did you not listen to the doctors yes you could be pregnant or just having a light period take a test and call your doctor genius
