it's an episode about transgenderism. I think one is even a FTM child. Should be interesting. I'm going to tape it.

Im in Australia so we probably wont get the episode her for a while but I just wanted to say good on Oprah! There really isnt enough education/information out there about puppy mills and I think this will really open peoples eyes up to the cruelty that the dogs go through when theyre in puppy mills. And will hopefully put an end to alot of the mills. Thanks for posting this! (& RIP to Sophie... Oprahs doggy =[ )

A *child*? That would be very interesting.

I actually don't like Oprah, but since I set the TiVo for Sinead O'Connor's appearance there, I may as well set it for this, too. I love Jerry Springer when I'm home sick, actually, but we need a viewpoint about transsexuality that's much more sophisticated than his.

I won't be able to watch it, but would like to. Oprah holds sway with a large segment of the population.

yes i will be watching it, not only did i have a lot of MTF friends when i was younger but i grew up near the town of Newark which is were Gwen Amber Rose Araju grew up and died and now i live near where the bastards who killed her dumped her body so even though i am not trans i love trans ppl and my heart goes out to them for the struggle... not only are they usually not gay but they definitely get treated worse then those of us who are

I would watch it but other members in my household have a strict "no Oprah" policy and I am outnumbered. They think she is racist and self important. I don't know... I personally admire her though... but... alas outnumbered much... :(
