As many moles of water the hydrate has absorbed!

Take magnesium sulfate

MgSO4 absorbs 7 moles of water:

MgSO4 + 7H2O --> MgSO4•7H2O

then

when you heat it you should get 7 moles of water back per mole of hydrate

MgSO4•7H2O --> MgSO4 + 7H2O

That depends on the Chemical nature of the hydrate.
