my family and I are going sailing! But I dont want to be water sick the whole 5 days! What will help me get over that?

When sailing in a yacht there will be strong winds and this means big waves of anything higher than a metre. Can be 3 metres high, too. If you are prone to sea-sickness then it is advisable not to go especially if the trip is five days. It would be terribly uncomfortable for you and sea-sickness pills usually do not help much. Even cruise ships in heavy seas give headache and stomach upsets. So there's my kind advice.

The best way to avoid any risk is not to take it. In other words, if you know that you are prone to sea-sickness, don't go on a boat for 5 days.

Of course there are some sea sickness medications you can try.

get some dramamine. It's sold everywhere, and is used for motion sickness. Works great!

don't go on a boat... but if you can't avoid it Dramamine or ginger lozenges
