I had to stop the video because I was sick to my stomach. Why do the so-called civil rights leaders care so much about symbolism and so little about human life? Where is their outrage? I have so little respect for the dirtbag men (sorry, not teens) who committed this crime and for the dirtbag civil rights advocates who stand silent while this little girl's civil right to life was snuffed out!

Your comments just show that you have no clue what the "march on Jena" was about. It wasn't about those boys not being punished, it was about "justice" truly being "blind" and being doled out EQUALLY.
Now this story with this little girl is completely, and utterly heartbreaking and I can only imagine the pain and guilt that her parents are feeling right now. I hope that those punks get the MAXIMUM penalty allowed by the law - because they DESERVE it.
It isn't about not being punished for your crimes, it's about the punishment FITTING the crime and I hope that one day you can realize that.
Tgibb, were I a violent person, perhaps I'd agree with you (regarding Sharpton and Jackson.) I honestly wish that "mainstream America" would wake up and realize that they don't speak for everyone in the Black community.
I must say that I love the people who say that if it were them, they would kill the perps... Yea right. Once in a blue moon someone may attack the perp, but rarely, if ever, do they kill them. Don't get me wrong, I understand your anger, but it's almost an insult to the victims family to imply that "if it were you" you would do this that or the other to the offender.

thats horrible.
but i actually agree with Deanna. Jena 6 isnt really about the fight so much and the fact that they should get off the hook completely because they were provoked, but that attempted murder charges dont fit in a school yard brawl. but at the same the charges have been reduced to 2nd degree battery....which is what it is. and shouldnt be reduced further. except for the deadly weapon (a shoe!).
i dont believe these boys will get off, or that there will be a rally behind them. they DID murder somone in cold blood and should be charged that way. i just dont see them gettin away with it , but they might seeing as how they are teens, and they dont HAVE to be tried as adults. and if they are tried as juveniles they could be out by their 21st birthday.

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson don't care about victims. They only care about inciting racism. This is so sad. Good luck. 2D

believe..me.... violence.. and hatred are balanced out very well between the races. no one in this country or throughout the world for that matter has the right to throw stones. for every black killed a white loses their life. for every evil from one race.. comes evil from another. grow up..people. it is not about race.. it is about hatred..bigotry.. from all sides.. just like you show by your answers some..people in this world are just mean... and on top of that ignorant. the media named.. al sharpton a black leader.. stop judging all by one man. there are so called leaders througout the us..black and white that are asses... stupidity has no color. if you do not believe that..some of u should look in the mirror. i am sorry i justget so tired and upset with people..who try to respond to serious.. and sad..issues with no knowledge what so ever.

my dear God i am nauseous. I have a 13 year old who stays home alone when she is sick if I have to work. God help her family - I would be in prison - I would go into the court room and shoot every one of them - no really, I would
As for Al Sharpton & jesse Jackson - you won't see those @ssholes's face on this one. They need to be shot - by black people

What is about protesting of racism that get Republicans so hot under the collar? Why do Republicans openly support being racists?
Oh yeah, the "Southern Strategy". I forgot.
The real question is do Republicans act racist because they are (as I believe) or because they think it will get them votes (as they claim).
