Some nice folks seem to prey on failures. Shame on you. Have you denied your mother because she didn't show up at your graduation and went to church instead? Or something like that.

there is a big difference between spiritual and religion, though some do use a religion to express their spiritual beliefs, and congregate with others who feel the same way
as to the mother question, i feel yes one should be upset if their mother missed their graduation and went to church, it makes no sense, spirituality is not churches, you dont need one to commune with God

You can't prove or disprove God. People look for physical evidence, when it's all about faith.

anything true can be prooved. material things can be prooved by material means and spiritual things can be prooved by spiritual means. it is unfair to demand a material proof for something spiritual. but god is true anyway. the question is just, if god WANTS him/herself to be prooved. and how and when an by whom. that is his/her own decision. but you can go for that.

No, it doesn't. But neither does it prove that there is. And the 'traditional' theistic view of 'God' just doesn't hold up all that well under close scrutiny.
