Check out Dragon Quest 8 - Journey of the Cursed King. This game is created by Square-Enix (Final Fantasy creators) and Level-5. It's a fun turn-based RPG with lovely cel-shaded graphics, an interesting and sometimes humorous storyline, great characters, a cool invention system with an "alchemy pot" that allows you to create great armor, weapons, and items, and a ton of gameplay (2 different endings and a bonus "Dragovian Trials"). This is an awesome RPG you'll be playing for a long time, and enjoying every second of it. Here is an IGN review (they gave it a 9/10):

Kingdom Hearts is great, and it's also from Square Enix (and it's a collaboration with Disney). Several Final Fantasy characters pop up in the Kingdom Hearts games (1 and 2 are for PS2 while no. 3 which is released soon is for PS3).

yes KH is good, but u forgot KH: chain of memories for the GBA. that is 1.5 and tells the story btween 1 and 2. also, if ur looking for a good RPG, go with The Legend oz Zelda (any, altho its adventure as well as RPG), Harvest Moon, the new game based on Harvest Moon w/ fighting (i cant remember the name it is in the recent issue of Nintendo Power, tho) Diablo 1 or 2, or WoW (World of Warcraft)

Dear Anna, all the games named above are rather good. though, it might be best noted that K.H. is better for younger people (it's got Goofy in it!!). However, Shadow Hearts (C.) is the best of all even though it's not from Square; it has a interesting Battle system that is quite good and very fun characters. i am sure you'll like it.

For ps2 i like the two Kingdon hearts, the Suikoden sequence, and that i'm an excellent fan of celebrity Ocean. Disgaea is cool, and Dragon quest grow to be exciting each and every so often. And yeah, Pokemon is crack, as quickly as you get into it. One long using trip and that i grow to be hooked!

There is a game called Zelda: Twilight Princess( VERY good game Rated E/T) and a game called Fable (Rated M). Both nice games in graphics and storyline.

yea i also recommend kindom hearts u should play dem sum final fantasy characters come out in da game and look awesome especially da ones 4rm ff7 and also dark cloud its kinda old but fun
