DEFINITELY ... I set my standards high ... work hard to achieve things, and (of course) will NOT settle anymore for LESS Than the best in a Personal Relationship (because I definitely am the SURVIVOR of a Short Disaster of a Relationship).
AFTER that time, I had to start all over again, from LESS than nothing .. and worked hard once again. Now 2 decades later ....
I am HAPPY Right now ... and have started dating someone caring, kind, gentle, and loving ... everything opposite that horror of an ex. AND ... most importantly ... I ACHIEVED what I wanted ... I am a Single Homeowner, I have the things I need for daily life, and yes, I EARNED my Pensions (including my Military Retirement too!)

Those of you who have HIGH standards, SHAME!
Theres Standards, witch get rid of all the jrks, and assholes, and guys who think with thier dick.
Then theres high standards, IE, "I wont date you unless you have a perfect body, great skin, Lots of money, a good job, a fancy car, and a big house.
THOSE of you who think like that have HIGH STANDARDS and need to be shot im afraid.

i do. most people dont understand why but i hold myself to very high standards. at times i feel im missing out on somethings but in the end, i can say i resisted temptation.

i'm bi-----girls have to have a pretty face, big is ok. guys have to be intelligent and overall nice to me.
i don't think my standards are TOO high

Some times yes and at other times no. We got to accept people as they are and situations that we cant change.
