If I were going for the highest office in the United States of America. I would indeed cremple up the whole government. I think as a leader it needs a way of raffiness to communicate and work to get things accomplished. Yes, I am a born leader. Unfortunate that I am a heart patient, otherwise I would run for the office.

I can walk and talk at the same time. Oh, wait, that wasn't quite what you asked, was it?
I have been in leadership positions, often not by my choosing. When I have been "volunteered" for a leadership position, it was because of my reputation. A leader needs to assess the talents of each person in the group and put those talents to good use. A leader needs to know when to delegate and when to do it herself. A leader needs to know how to motivate and get the job done. I have never been a leader who takes control and just tells everybody how to do it my way. I have always listened to others' views and then made the decisions, let them do their job, and assume they'll do their best. When you treat your team well, you get good results.
As for my self worth as a leader, the result always spoke for themselves. I am not a prideful person, but I do my job well.

Out of 20 years in the U.S. Navy, I was in a leadership position with anywhere from 9 to 48 people under my supervision. My leadership marks were always top marks so I must have been doing SOMETHING right. I had more control over those I supervised back then than I would now. I have had 3 projects where I was a work leader but MY supervisor did not support me if I had a discipline problem (he was afraid of 'making waves') so, I often turn down positions like that.

Jennyann, I have no desire to be a leader. After years of being responsible for siblings and children and being in the work force I prefer to walk to the beat of my own drum. I hope to never fill out a nother resume or go into detail about my background except in memories of the olden days.
I do hope to see Leaders answer this question. But I'm not one of them.

I care not to be a leader and I only follow those who have true authority of Father to lead. Mostly, in this world, I talk my own talk and walk my own walk for who besides those anointed of Father, are worthy of being followed and not lead us down the path of man?

I am not a leader, because I don't require, or expect people to follow me. I would find it difficult to have any respect for anyone who would choose to follow me (or anyone else).
I am not a follower, because I refuse to follow anyone, and I question everything.
I try to learn what I can from everything, but my natural skepticism keeps me from buying in.
