Welfare is a form of Socialism, not even close to slavery. Some people are unable to work, and with the current job market, cant find a job to support life.

YES, in many ways it can. During plantation days, "slaves" were provided for with a place to live, food to eat and clothes to wear. Once the slaves were freed, a welfare system developed to provide for people who could not provide for theirselves. That welfare system has continued to this day... the only difference is.. the "slavery" is no longer a matter of performing 'chores' for the plantation but being loyal to a government that can take the safety net away at any time. It's still 'slavery' because the welfare system discourages someone from rising above what they have been made into by years of government subsidies, to become what they can be as a person and a race.

how? slavery is the act of forcing another person to do your work without compensation. welfare is compensation without working.
