i would give him one or two every other day until he is older. then you only have to feed him twice a week. you can give him a few a day, but it's up to you. remember to take the crickets out if he doesn't eat them because they irritate the lizard by running around him. good luck!

dust them with calcium before you feed them too!!!! you can buy it at any pet store

do a search for geckos and see what the websites say for more stuff! =)

What kind of gecko is it? My suggestion is to start out placing three or four crickets in there, and see if your gecko eats them all. If it does and he/she still looks hungry afterwards, gradually add crickets until your gecko stops eating, and keep count to see how many. Baby geckos in general should be fed every other day, but it depends on the species.

Remember to put Miner-all or another such supplement on your crickets to keep your gecko healthy. :)

And as far as a way to get crickets out and not have them all over your room, you have two options that come to mind.

1. Get a cricket corral. You can order them at LLLreptile.com, or you may be able to find them at your local pet store. They are really nifty and prevent your crickets from escaping when you are trying to send them to their impending doom :)

2. Get a cat. Mine look forward to gecko-feeding time, because it means if there are any stragglers that get loose in my room, they get to hunt them down and eat them. Yes, I am aware my cats are strange, but such is life. ;)

Good luck, I hope this helps!

I called Gieco but the gecko was not available at this time to ask.

I will try again later and get back to you.
