Anyone have any thoughts on what city is the better one to live in? I've got job opportunities in both cities and have never lived in either city. Been to boston before, but never been to denver so not really sure which place would be better. So if anyone could give me some insight as to living in both or either city I'd be greatful.

Hmm thats a tough one!

Boston is a great city....lots of fun bars ...great sports environment...nice stores. It's nice because you are still close to the ocean....yet can still take a weekend trip up to vermont which is so beautiful in the fall and wonderful for skiing. Not far from NYC or for trips up to Canada. Boston has a lot of charm and character....I would love to live there.

Denver is supposed to be great too though! I live in the NYC/NJ area now and am actually planning to move to Denver within the next yr! I am visiting for the first time in 3 weeks so I don't have a firsthand account of what it is like. However, the one main advantage I would say is the cost of living ...its a lot cheaper (as far as housing) than NYC or Boston. It's also a great sports time some nice downtown areas. Winters in Denver are not as harsh as everyone thinks...Denver is very flat almost like the plains in Kansas.... snow melts quickly and their is not the level of humidity like the east coast. It seems like the overall area is a little more suburban....not like a big urban area.

Good luck on your decision. I would base it on finances...it if is the same salary in both places...you will definitely get more for your money in Denver. But if you like the ocean and the east coast lifestyle....Boston is probably better.

If you're looking for more of an urban place to live, Boston. If you enjoy the outdoors and slower pace, Denver is the place for you.

If you like culture, history and urban life, go Boston.

If you like nature, sunshine, go Denver.
