Women stretching when talking?

Question

When I talk to women, many of them seem to have a need to stretch when talking to me. Arms over head, arms behind head, spine arched backwards.

I had a female supervisor at work do this today. She was across the room, side view. The minute I walked by and said Good Morning, up went the arms behind the head, back arched almost across the top of the back of the chair, buttons straining! While she said Good Morning back to me..

Of course, my eyes automatically DROP down!
I would have to blind or dead, NOT TO LOOK! And I am neither!

I think this is a positive signal they are sending to me. But being a guy, and usually clueless, I was wondering what the rest of you think about this?

Funny answers are welcome too. Raining today. I could use a good laugh.

Truthfully, I think it is left over primal instinct.

I do it without even realizing it, whenever there is an attractive man about; and I am very happily married.

Oh David, not every woman is hitting on you!
I have a female boss who will do the same thing in front of everyone- men and women. She seems to do it more in front of the men, but she is a self proclaimed attention seeker. It's a whole story that I won't bother getting into.
But the moral is, some women just like having the sexual attention. Does she do this in front of other people as well? Men and women? She may not even be aware that she is doing it for that sole purpose, so I would just ignore it.
Of course, she could be putting the moves on you, but since I don't have any more information that what you've told us, I am going to stick with my first instinct and say she's doing it for the attention- consciously or not.
And your instinct to NOT LOOK is a very good one. Because you know if she catches you looking, you'll be in trouble.
Also, are the women who are doing this to you really good friends who only see you that way? Maybe they are just very comfortable around you and don't see you in a sexual way. Who knows why we do what we do? We're nuts! :P

If u bypass tanning they don't become much less obvious, truthfully they are going to show extra. Me as an 18 365 days historical female I surely have stretch marks from puberty, i used to be fat then lost numerous weight. I whent to the sea coast & gained a tan, they gained shinny and did show extra. u can inspect coconut cream or savila i think hair is plenty extra disgusting than stretch marks.

... I do it when i'm uncomfortable, not as in they make me uncomfortable, but usually when someone is attractive, its like a comping mechanism for me. I stretch to relieve the stress of looking at someone hot. Its strange but, its instinct. I guess they just think your attractive.

Seriously, guys suck it in and gals push it out. But I have to add, I don't think this posturing occurs with ugly men and women. You're probably quite good looking!!!

I think it's odd that a LOT of women do that to you. Maybe you're really hot. I'll have to be more aware of my own 'stretching habits' now.

you're a lucky man... women cross their arms whenever i walk into the room... often times they frown too...
