Seeing how the terrorist pilots trained for years, and Bush was only in office 9 months, NO, I don't think Bush caused 9-11. Has Bush caused hate or led more people to hate the United States? I'm sure he has, but there is no way he caused 9-11.

Remarks by president Bush prior to 9/11 would have to be the least likely cause of 9/11. There's 50+ years of history meddling in the Middle East, that was the cause of 9/11, not inflammatory remarks. Presidents will call other countries evil in an attempt to win favor with the American people in an effort to take action against that country, be it through war, diplomacy or the UN.

9/11 Was being planed long before President Bush took office. So no Bush did not cause the attack even though the liberals would like to make every one believe that he did. I was in Europe while Reagan was in office and almost every one that I met would tell me what a bad president he was but when the Berlin wall came down the same people came to me to tell me what a great man he was. For what it is worth they made jokes and had little respect for President Clinton also. What the other countries look at is how the USA can benefit them when they need us they love us and when they don't need any thing then they hate us.

I dont think anything Bush said could have in any way sparked 9/11, he was a relatively new president at the time and terrorism wasnt a big topic until after 9/11. Besides I dont think what we say to other countries bothers them much

They certainly contribute to hard feelings, intolerance and misunderstanding.
The Bush regime did not CAUSE 9/11. They have DEFINITELY profited from it, and killed millions of people.
And there is some evidence, and much suspission (PNAC documents and unexplained behavior of the US military on 9/11, as well as deliberately mis-handled investigations into 9/11) that the Bush regime carried out the attacks on 9/11.

If you look back in time Democrats before the 70's saw other countries as evil, FDR and Truman both saw the evils of Germany and Japan and made sure that we kept the battle steady against them instead of giving up when the war was not going well. Modern day democrats would rather hate America than fight for its victory against the evil terrorists in the world today.

I think it would be more accurate to say that 9/11 was the result of about 50 years of US foreign policy in the Middle East. That's just my opinion of course, but I think this article puts it in perspective quite well:

You know, that's a really good question and a really good point. I would venture to say that it certainly can't help even if it doesn't directly cause issues.
I do, however, think that when one country's leader insults another country it must cause issues and tick people off.
Bravo.
(Here's a flame retardant vest because you know this question will get flamed.)

The terrorist plot was devised and several of the terrorists had come into the US before Bush was even nominated by the GOP.
The timeline does not support your contention.
