Yes, this is what my babies is too. The heartbeat myth would suggest we're having girls. It was actually true with my first pregnancy, I had a girl whose heartbeat was always above 150.

Quite normal, Your babies heart rate is pretty high up until about 32 weeeks when it will establish a baseline between 110 and 160 bpm. Before this it can be a fair bit higher

Very normal! My baby's was 170 at 8 weeks, 158 at 12 and just read 150 at 16 weeks on Monday.

Babies heart rates can be all over the map. Mine three have typically been mid to high. Sounds good to me.

BTW, if anyone tries to tell you 'oh, it's a girl cuz it's fast' or anything...heartbeat does not indicate gender. You've still got a 50/50 chance of getting the sex right that way. :)

Congrats!!

It's a girl! (Just kidding). They do say that females have higher fetal heartrates though- this is the upper range of normal. Enjoy your pregnancy!

If it was bad, you're doc would have told you! Sounds good to me, my baby's was also about there at that time.
