Hello tammihart:

I did this for a booth at my daughter's pre-school carnival. we got a two-pound box of the temp. tat's from "Oriental Trader."

The booth consisted of a small table, six chairs, and three appliers. We had a bucket of water, and two towels; one wet, one dry.

Have the applier sit in one chair, and the "customer" sit in the other facing each other. Use the wet towel to wipe the skin where the tat will go, and then place the decal on the skin. Cover with the wet towel for 30 seconds, then use the dry towel to blot the excess moisture. Peel the backing away, and you're done.

You can use the table to spread out the tats, or as a seperator for the booth.

If you can, have the girls practice on each other at one of your meetings. I didn't get to practice, and it took about 10 tats before I found the best method.

Have fun!

Your first answer is a very good one. I'm not used to putting on temporary tattoos because I'm a tattoo artist but I do have temp. tattoos in my shop for the kids that visit with their parents and it says on the back to clean the area well then put the tattoo on the skin where you want it and hold it down with a wet towel or sponge for 30 seconds or more then carefully lift off the paper allowing the paper to slip free from the tattoo then blot dry. You can also use a little baby powder after to make it more dry but you don't have to if you don't want. It makes a little bit of a mess.

I would think a narrow table with chairs on both sides, one side for tattooer and one for tattooee, with towel or table cloth over. Maybe small spray bottles with water, and bits of sponge for wetting and soaking. (if you are using water activated ink transfer tattoos)
