Do u know what made her break out? If so then dont let her near it again. Use some lotion on her and let her air out for a bit.

Dont think you should give anytype of benedryl or antihistamine at that age.
Are you sure its an allergic reaction, can you trace to what? Recommendations of trying solids at that age are to space things out for that reason. If its not, look into things like Hand Mouth and Foot, in that case the small red dots typically appear on the hands and feet first. This is something thats easily spread with youngsters.

When my son was 6-7 months old he ran a fever and broke out with red dots all over his tiny body. I took him to the Dr who told me that it was "normal" for some children's bodies to react this way when they had run fevers. If your child is running a fever or had a fever it will go away in a weeks time. If there is no fever and honestly an allergic reaction take her to the dr, but benidrylle works too (Im sure I mispelled that)

When my daughter was a few months old she had a similar reaction to penicillin. We obviously stopped giving her doses and the doctor suggested we give her Benedryl or another antisistimine to help with the itchy rash. It cleared up in a day or two.
Poor baby! Hope she gets better soon!

Could be heat rash...also, a virus can present itself this way in babies. Check in with your pediatrician.
