You need to feel more self confident. Education, job, living on your own for awhile helps to make you reliant on yourself. Maybe getting yourself in shape and getting plenty of exercise to improve your self image and fitness. Making your own decisions without conferring with anyone else, or feeling the need to. When you feel good about yourself, you are a lot less likely to need confirmation of who you are from an outside source. Another thing about becoming too attached too early is that it could put off someone you might otherwise have developed a relationship with, so keep it light, attach yourself to you, and just enjoy friendships for what they are when they come along.

Yes I do sometimes & it's ended in getting hurt a couple of times too.
I have to be more careful. Maybe I'm just so amazed that a woman would pay attention to me, when my self esteem isn't that great.

yeah very fast.. cant help it but if i enjoy talking to someone i get attatched very quickly and then feel like i have lost something if i dont speak to them for a while..

actually I think i am a very emotionally detached person..
I have no idea why...i think cuz I'm not too good at speaking of my feelings..
