Every so often my girlfriend feels like this, but she told me that she almost got in an accident today and it really is worrying me. She is 23 and healthy (and def not pregnant). This is what she just told me "ok so everything is normal, i get a sudden headache right behind my eyes, feels like a string pulling behind my eyes, my stomach gets very queasy , i could throw up, my vision goes blurry/ i cant focus" and "my head is spinning , i get the feeling i am going to pass out/am falling asleep" all of this extremely sudden. if i move it gets very bad, no turning head/ looking up or down"
Her mother just got diagnosed with a Vitamin B deficiency, but my girlfriend's symptoms don't match with what I have found online concerning that.
Please, if anyone knows I would really appreciate it. She is really stubborn and won't go to the hospital. If she does, what kind of tests should she get done?

Also, she had this happen to her about 4 years ago in college. She had a seizure, was rushed to the hospital and the doctors found nothing. They just told her to eat 3 square meals a day.

Well, for one thing... the LAST thing she needs is a secondhand diagnosis on Answers.
Her condition could be caused by any number of things. She needs to see doctor... and the sooner the better... because it's not going to get any better.
I have an idea what it may be, but it would scare the hell out of you if I told you.
Have her see a doctor... seriously.!

She might be dehydrating a little. But with symptoms like that- especially if they've been going on for a while- your girlfriend really needs to see a doctor. There are a number of things I can think of that might cause that, including high blood pressure, aneurysm (when the walls of a blood vessel weaken and the vessel blows up like a balloon), or even cancer.
She might be asked to take an MRI, a cat scan, and x-rays. That's something she needs to talk with the doctors about.
Good luck!

People who have inner ear problems have symptoms that include dizziness, passing out, nausea and severe headaches. She needs to see a doctor and at the very least needs to stop driving a car. Ask your stubborn significant other if an attack of dizziness occured while she was behind the wheel and she was involved in a crash, could she live with it if she wiped out another family ? Everyone is at risk until she gets this problem resolved. Tell her to do the responsible thing.

2 potential things that come right to my mind - I am not a doctor and this is merely my life experience as reference.
1: she's having mini strokes and needs to get to a doctor ASAP (yesterday if not sooner)
2: she's having severe migranes and may be helped by a doctor.
either way, when your vision suddenly changes, it's time to see a doctor. That's a definite warning sign for something. Really try to convince her she should at least get a check up and talk to a doctor about it. If she has health insurance, many have a 24hour nurse line she might be able to call..
Good luck and I hope she's ok.

Low blood pressure? Diabetes? She really, really needs to see as doctor as this is serious. She'll probably have a series of tests ran. Let the doctor know what is happening and he'll know what to do.

It could be anything from a low blood pressure side effect to a low blood sugar side effect. Is there anything that seems to cause the sensations (IE: standing suddenly, skipping a meal, laying down suddenly, etc)? She should definitely see her MD just to be safe.

Tell her to go to the doctor and get a check up and tell her that you care about her and that's the only reason why your telling her to do this.
It would help you both plus it could be serious.
Best Of Luck !
