what are these points good for? can I redem them?

It's my understanding these points are redeemable at Target. All you have to do is print out your points and show it to the cashier when you heck out. 1 point = 1 cent.
i am saving mine until Christmas time.

No. However the more points you get the more questions you can answer per day and it shows how helpful you've been. There's an article on here somewhere that explains the whole point system (I got REEEEEALLY bored and read it once). Check the Help section and look for FAQs, maybe it'll be in there.

IF you are referring to Yahoo!Answers points then the points are not redeemable, however, they will in fact represent your level of commitment and contribution to helping people with their personal dilemmas. Hey! Feel proud! You already answered 31 questions to the best of your ability.

Use em to buy a house, or paint the town, or to get free drinks, or frequent flier miles, or use them to do NONE of those things! They don't do nothing.
