If the French had tried to fireplace up a revolution in usa back in the 18th century, the human beings might have rallied around King George to shelter the empire and the republic might extremely have in no way been born. A revolution could be stirred up from interior of a rustic or the human beings will rally around their leaders. like all of our foreign places policies because worldwide war II, i'm helpful that regardless of we do in Iran will carry extra soreness, suffering and dying to human beings.

Actually, I do remember when Ayatollah overthrew the Shah of Iran. I remember because I was stationed in Greece and the American families were evacuated to Greece first on their way home. I remember the kids talking about seeing dead bodies laying in the streets for days, being confined to their homes, hearing gunshots at all hours of the day, and living in terror that the rebels would come after them next. I remember the mothers crying over leaving their Iranian friends who BEGGED them to stay and not let the US abandon them to the fundamentalists. The Iranian PEOPLE hate their regime. But they are totally repressed and in fear of their lives. So don't get on your high-horse with me about Iran, because YES I do remember.

it was good that Ahmadinejad mentioned the installation of the Shah over their democratically-elected government. We should have learned then that the US should not support dictators if they want to truly represent liberty and justice, but instead we continue to be closely tied to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan

Iran has a tougher policy on gays- republicans are gay.
