Sad thing is a lot of people can't recognize true evil anymore.
There are people who go as far as to say that President Bush is worse than Ahmadinejad. or Bin Laden, Now, there's a lot of things I don't like about Bush; but I am rational enough to know the difference between him and the fanatics out there who have advocated(either directly or through proxy) for the destruction of the United States and Israel and ultimately Western culture.
My anger about Ahmadinejad.'s speech at Columbia on Monday was not so much that he had been invited to speak there but that persons in the audience were applauding him! Except for his remarks on homosexuals(there's no gays in Iran) which drew laughs of disbelief, almost everything else Ahmadinejad said pretty much went unchallenged by the general audience. Yes, there were some poignant questions asked, but he was allowed to weasel his way of any direct answers.
It makes me wonder about the amount of anti- American. anti-West indoctrination young people are subject to in our colleges and universities. Are students today being taught critical thinking skills or purely leftist propaganda? Are they being provided with a balance presentation of ideas and theoriies regarding politics, foreign policy, economics etc.?

Creepy AND dangerous. But what is really scary is people like Edmund and BeatMe who only read headlines, like ones that talk about Ahmadinejad being "elected" as president...but do not have the intellectual capacity to go deeper and learn about those who were shot or imprisoned if they DIDN'T vote for him. Just like when Saddam Hussein was "elected" in Iraq. Complacent and naive certainly applies to people like him.

June 16, 2000: A Semi pushed me into the path of another Vehicle at Interstate Speed and never stopped. The Bed Liner in my Truck, along with me wearing my Seat Belt Shoulder Harness saved my life. The Bed Liner kept the bed from crumbling forward. The Bed Liner caused the bed to turn inside out from the impact of Semi. The Semi Driver never stopped. I was transported to local Hospital, treated for minor injuries and released same day.

Creepy looking, yes. Difficult to be scared of someone, though, when you can't take them seriously.

i agree with you. i'm pretty positive that our next mission is iran. why else did we bring him here? our government used this man to be gungho about war with iran. now most of americans are mad and more than likely will support war against iran. that's my opinion.
