The people or nations that hate america today have a number of reasons for doing so.

People:
1. We are trying to prevent them from coming here illegally to draw welfare.
2. They personally, are not getting any money from our many charities.
3. They really think Iran is a wonderful place to live by comparison.
4. They don't own a car.
Nations:
1.They have not recently had a national disaster and we haven't sent megabucks to them since the last one.
2. They cannot make do on our 6 billion or so in foriegn aid.
3. We get really pissed when they blow us up.
4. We wil not give visas to their criminals.
5. Most Americans are really proud that they are and the good folks of many parts of the world simply don't understand that. They are not necessarily proud of being Columbian or whatever.
6. Not enough of our tourists frequent their country and spend American dollars there and they don't think the revolution going on is a good excuse.
7. We don't hate them and they don't think that is fair.
8. We would prefer, and say so publicly, that they don't attack their neighbors, our allies or us and they think we hould mind our own business so they can.

They are simply Jealous because they know that they are not capable of obtaining the level of freedom and prosperity that we enjoy in this country. Even our poor are better off than entire populations in many parts of the world. America is hated so much that 1000,s of people daily literally risk life and limb just to get here.

This is but a short list of the atrocities including crimes against humanity the imperialistic US has visited on literally hundreds of millions of humans all in the pursuit of the US 's NATIONAL INTERESTS (READ PROFITS).

Be it in the Middle East or in South and Central America ,countries and their peoples are at long last demanding that the US be held accountable for all their atrocities.

Aside from the crime against humanity called the Vietnam War,the US is currently wagging another of it's war atrocities in Iraq which is an ILLEGAL war of choice all based upon a pack of filthy stinking lies which has resulted in the SLAUGHTER of over 400,000 innocent Iraqi civilians ALL FOR OIL !!!

"Everyone" does not hate America....A lot of liberals have hated America for years...Bush just gave them a common focal point for their hate....I think that terrorist hate America, They've been pretty clear on that...There are those that hate America with OUR food in their mouths....
