The United States already did... TWICE.
2/3 of land Mexico held not more than a two hundred years ago was occupied by the States.

Because no matter how much you think they don't like their country, it would pizzz them off to no end.
You simply do not understand nationalistic pride.
Even a country that has a repressive dictatorship will rise up against an invader.
Look at what is happening in our two wars.
You really want a repeat of that?
Next time, please think more clearly. Life is simply not that complicated, nor easy.
Peace
Jim

How about we just get a bunch of construction workers (Mexicans?), give them all jackhammers and place them along the U.S.-Mexican border and they can start drilling until Mexico floats away from us!
It worked for Wile E. Coyote....

Sounds good to me. Let me ask you this......If Mexico was stronger and had a powerful army....would we have had more issues with them? If roles were reversed, would they have treated us the way we have treated them?

When they return home...they have the opportunity to vote to become a US territory.

Gee... ask the people of Iraq how that is turning out for them.
The US has actually tried this in the past. And failed miserably every time. People don't like it when you come in, smash their homes, overthrow their govenment and kill their families. How would you like it if someone did it to you?
