snipeing isn't worth it....as there is always someone with the same method as you and they inevitably always have a higher bid. It's what they call being out sniped at the last second.

with plenty of time to go, hit the refresh button and count how long it takes for the page to refresh (don;t have to be exact)
when you know this, (lets say its 5 seconds) wait until 10 seconds before the auction finishes and put your higher bid in. i have never used one of the sniper sites but guess they're probably a bit more reliable than this method

Well, from what I've heard, it means waiting until a bid has only a minute or two left, then bidding just above the highest bidder.

Wait til the last 10-15 seconds to bid....always works for me, then place your highest bid

Decide what your maximum bid is going to be but don't actually place it until within the last minute of the auction.
