Has anyone ever purchased the Platinum Package when traveling to Walt Disney World? I am going to disney in august for my honemoon and I was wanting to know if it was worth the money. We are going to be there for 8 days 7 nights. Did you have enough time to do the theme parks and all the extras that come with the package? And what is the one thing we shouldn't miss (activity wise) with this package?

I couldn't really tell you if the Platinum Package is right for you or not. My husband and I have thought about purchasing it for when we go back in a couple of years. The only thing that is holding me back is that some of the attractions that are included in the package I am not at all interested in, for instance Cirque De Solel, I just am not a circus type of person therefore I really don't know if I want to spend the extra money for that. On the other hand, some of the other perks such as VIP seating for the Illuminations and Wishes fireworks would be awesome. I guess it all depends on if you like all the perks that are included and if you have the moola for it. Personally, I would be just as happy to have the Magic Your Way with Dining for our vacation package, but my husband wants our next family trip to be our "Dream Trip", he wants to do the whole kit and kaboodle. Sorry I couldn't help you more, but good luck anyway.

I looked into it also for my next trip. First the circus isn't your run of the mill circus, its more an acrobatic show. Here's my take on the package though. If you have never been to WDW, or its been a long time since you went the 4 parks are going to keep you plenty busy, so no need to add a bunch of extra stuff on this trip. If you have been several times and want to try out some of the other things WDW has to offer that you might not normally experience then it would be worth it.
