My 323i bmw bonnet will not open due to the cable snapping at the latch inside the car- any ideas how i might get this pain in the A** sorted easily??

seriously, get underneath and stick your arm up to flip the latch. if you can get hold of the cable where it snapped you should be able to open it by pulling it

if you can still see the cable from inside the car get some grips and pull it whilst a friend in gently leaning on the bonnet to take the pressure off the latch.

As Nutter says that s the best option or failing that take it down to a local garage and they will do it for you......they know all the tricks.

BMW's are great despite what has been said........never had a prob with mine for over 7 years!!!

And a great mover!

Drive it into a wall at 60 mph believe you me it will open then.

Hi there, If you set fire to the engine, the fire brigade will open your bonnet free of charge.ha ha ha. take it to your local garage,they will open it if you give them a couple of quid for the tea kitty.good luck...

BMW are the most overrated mechanical flawed vehicles I have ever owned.

Yeah sure they are a great drive and very luxurious when they are spot on but once they start giving headaches it is never ending.

I will never buy another.. Japanese cars are by far superior in every way. Get rid of it and buy a Honda you won't regret it.
