I want to get rid of the red wine odor left in my carpet from yesterday......and I have heard that it will do that........but........will it damage the carpet any or change the colour?

NO it will not cause any damage to your carpet. It is a wonderful stuff, bicarbonate of soda. A wonder of the modern world.

no it is white water is white put soda on first one tablespoon @a time until youve got it down depending on size. They shouldnt be heaping if the wine is dryed apply water seltzer if you can but tap will do let it rehydrate then applt spoon at a time of b.s. and watch it turnthe soda red yellow whichever winevaccuum still some there redo but less water b/c it'll spread. Blue oxy clean works wonders spray and let set then add water and process if you are not satisfied.

No. If there is any odour left, try Febreze, that usually works, even getting rid of sour milk smell from car carpet.

Why take a risk ? Just go to a carpet retail furnishing house and ask them for advice ,( or get a carpet cleaning specialist)
You could get a ruined carpet if you dont take care !!

dont scatter it too thick in the one place - make sure its evenly spread. Its great stuff - natural deodoriser.
