It shouldn't cost you a thing thats why we pay taxes. Unless you caused the break by driving over the main or digging into it.

Depends on how deep they need to dig to get to the line, what material the line is, and if it is possible to patch it or if they need to replace a larger section.

IF IT IS BETWEEN THE METER AND THE HOUSE, YOU ARE USUALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIRS. IN THE SOUTH IT MIGHT BE 18 INCHES DEEP AND COST $60.00 OR IN MAINE IT MIGHT COST 200.00. THOSE FIGURES ARE THE MINIMUMS.
