There is a HR association that may have the answer for you.

Or better yet, go to your local library and go to the business desk and ask the librarian that same question.

They have all the reverence materials you need.

dont know what you mean by practices. They post a job internally so present employees can look for promotions or recommend friends that they think will be interested. They post on internet sites such as Monster or Career Builder, may list in the newspaper, some use recruiting firms, may post on company web site. Out of the responses, they will pick those with the education, experience and type of job record that they will want to interview. They may also ask for salary expectations so that they only interview those who will accept their pay range. Sometimes there is a phone interview, followed by at least one face to face interview. Hopefully the candidate that can do the job the best and that fits in with the company will be hired.
