no longer even close. Worst in modern history is Carter. record extreme inflation, gasoline strains, record extreme costs of pastime, brought about the Iran/Iraq project, bought the Panama Canal, hostage disaster etc etc. and that's in basic terms a start up. Ask all people who lived in the time of that era. below Bush we've been secure because 2001 and we've seen the inventory marketplace hit an all time top of 14,000. No president has performed this. i do in comparison to various the Bush policies, yet by utilising staying out of the economic equipment we observed marvelous advance. that is, until the democrats gained congress. Now the marketplace is somewhat over 8,000. those modern scandals by utilising senate democrats has extremely harm the economic equipment. yet liberals write the history books, so do no longer assume the reality to be project-free to discover.

James Buchanan runs a close second But George W Bush is clearly the worst we've ever had.
Edit 1
Take Vietnam out of the mix and LBJ was of our greatest Presidents ever .The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was one of the greatest pieces of legistlation that has ever been passed in American history. It took the kind of political power and huge balz that LBJ had to get that kind of legislation passed .
As far as Vietnam goes LBJ was simply carrying the torch that had been passed to him by every President since FDR
Edit 2
To the guy below me .Bill Clinton told the truth .To a male brain oral sex is not considered to be sex .It's like grabbing a Big Mac on the way home from work and having your wife ask you if you ate and you honestly telling "No "because having a Big Mac is not considered to be eating.

You should read your U S History Book. The worse President of the United States was Jame Earl Carter. He did the poorest job as U S President. Before being the President, he was the worse Governor for the State of Georgia.
Then, you might been brainwash by liberal educators.

No...
And I have to comment on the ppl who claim Clinton was worse than GWB...
Perhaps those very ppl fail to acknowledge the fact that there was a huge surplus, the economy was doing great, ppl were able to eat and buy fuel at the same time unlike today for many ppl.
Perhaps it's because Clinton wasn't the most ethical President by having a sexual relationship with Monica, but in no way did that activity affect Clinton's ability to run this Country.

I agree with you.
He broke a complex political and economical balance in Middle East and started there a new Vietnam that for a long time will keep USA in a difficult international and domestic situation.

Lincoln, the war he started killed way more Americans than BOTH Iraq wars. I'd love to say Bill Clinton, But, hey, After he took over we had our longest running economic boom, which lasted until the end of his term.
