Here's a few reasons:
doesn't think
does think.....that it will refill itself since he always finds a full one in its place
won't fit in the garbage can
too lazy to take out the garbage
wants to remind you to get more
wants to keep the space in the fridge open so you won't fill it with something else
your guess is as good as mine

For the same reason we pee on every tree in our yard. It's marking our territory. If I go over to a woman's house, open the fridge, and find empty juice bottles, then I know I'm the rooster in someone else's hen house. If I use her bathroom and the seat is up when I walk in, then the b@st@rd is just showing off.

He had a puzzled look on his face because he is a MAN. My husband does the same thing - I just throw it away and wait for him to ask me where the juice bottle is.

it is so humorous. Now do me a want and take the oj bottle out of the refrigerator and placed it on his fringe of the mattress on the pillow. after all he grow to be savinging it for some thing particular

same reason as why he leaves the toilet seat up, never replaces the paper on the roll holder, fails to smell a dirty nappy, never wakes up when the baby cries, walks over something in his way rather than pick it up and why he leaves his smelly sports bag next to the washing machine but fails to get the clothes out of the bag and into the machine....because he is a MAN.

I don't know if there's a reason but my hubby does exactly the same with every bottle, juice, water or whatever else they might contain. It drives me insane! :))

My oldest son does the same thing. I figure that he's too lazy to walk 4 steps to the trash can.
