What does britney spears have to do with feminism? Just because you're a woman and/or wealthy doesn't mean you're a feminist. So no, britney spears isn't a good example of feminism or much else.

A good example of what NOT to be like. Justify my answer, just look at all the underwear-less photos, the ridiculous tabloid exploits, you don't act like that knowing full well that people with cameras are always following you and then act surprised OR hurt about it, she is a mother and was someone for young girls to look up to and now she has evolved into a piece of white trash, of her own making. No one out there is making her do the things that she is doing.

i love the professor's response. Because when Kfed was out whoring around he was called alot of thing, but bad father wasn't one of them. Actually, he wasn't even criticized to the point that she was, it was just blown up that he was cheating and dumping her at home with the kids.
I feel bad for her, she realizes shes made some serious mistakes and doesn't know how to handle it, since someone has always handled everything for her.
as for an example of feminism - I guess your intended stab is that is what comes of women being able to make their own decisions? Non sequitor to me, as she is not a real life example of an average person.

Britney Spears has been a living cash cow of society. Sad but true. Paid to be ridiculed and de-moralised. Its all about the media and about how much money they can make out of her.

No, from what I've seen she doesn't embody any of the principles.
I think she's a good example of what happens when children are forced to grow up too fast. It's really sad.

Ah c`mon. This isn’t a question for G&WS. Take it over to Entertainment/Celebrities where it belongs.
And give her a break. She’s at a transitional stage in her life, and all the paparazzi watching her is magnifying the problems ten-fold for her.

Disparate treatment maybe. She is criticized for going to bars, and being out at night, etc....It is deemed she is a bad mother for not staying home with her babies.
Her ex spends more than his share of time in the same places but he is deemed just out having fun.
I am glad the court has ordered they BOTH get parenting education. Seems we have a court that is not biased.

Nope, not at all. She's a good example of self-destruction brought about by a childhood lived under the voracious gaze of the media.

I like Brit, but I wouldn't say she's a very good example of feminism. I'm not gonna rag on her about her state of mental health or the rest of her personal life because it isn't my business, nor is it my place to judge. I think she found things hard to handle and I'm sure that having that drug-addict phony-dad Federline doesn't help, either.
...And I wish people would stop calling her 'fat' because she's NOT fat. I think her body looks better than ever!

Nah, not really. If so, it's not an issue to me, because she's so extreme, therefore easy to spot. There are much more meaningful examples, like Beyonce's lyrics to "To the left."
