No I don’t think so; I tested it and found it isn’t embarrassing.
I stand behind my screen, and looked to Alice Avatar ( in this position you can see her hide behind the curtain )
try it and you gonna find it is not embarrassing at all from other hand she told me " i don't like to hide i like to see the ppl when they type" :-)

Alice - avatar has stolen some jewels from the Queen of Hearts and she is afraid someone will find out she has hidden them behind the red curtain.

When I was leaving with my mother, I was sweeping the floor and put all the dust of the floor behind the curtain, not to show.
My mother called me bad housekeeper and stupid and she was very embarrassed of me.
